What is your decorating footprint?

Happy Earth Day folks. I attended an interesting lecture yesterday at the PDC given by Timothy Corrigan. I thought I would pose a question that he posed to the group of attendees:

“what is your decorating footprint?”

I have to admit that “green” design hasn’t always been a philosophy that I’ve applied to my projects, but I was reminded that I don’t have to revolutionize my methods of design, but just make smarter choices. A true difference can be made at the start of a project when the construction planning begins; select FSC certified lumber or recycled steel and use Blue Jean insulation! How fabulous is that?

Let us all in the design industry, as Timothy stated, “design responsibly and make home-health a priority”. Corrigan has line of home cleaning products and he even has an Eco cleaner for fine silver – good to know!
